Golf Simulator Room Dimensions: Width, Depth & Ceiling

A useful room specification is not one universal minimum: it combines the actual golfer, club, enclosure, launch monitor and projector into one verified layout.

Safety/fit gate: dimensions here are planning prompts, not clearance certification. Perform controlled swing tests with every user and verify exact monitor, enclosure and projector requirements.

Measure clear finished space

Record the narrowest clear width, finished ceiling height and usable depth after doors, lights, ducts, columns, storage and wall protection. Nominal room dimensions can overstate the real swing zone.

Ceiling height is golfer-specific

A published rule of thumb cannot certify clearance. Test every intended user slowly with the longest club while accounting for raised mats, overhead launch monitors, projectors and lights.

Depth belongs to the tracking architecture

Radar units may require space behind the ball and ball flight toward the screen. Camera floor units and overhead units create different placement and handedness constraints. Use the current exact-model manual.

Turn dimensions into a package brief

Run the room planner, save the provisional layout and ask each seller to confirm the enclosure outside dimensions, hitting position, launch-monitor zone and projector mount before checkout.

Start with your dimensions

Run the integrated room planner, then compare the installed budget.
